Black Catholic History Month Novena

During the month of November, the Catholic Church celebrates Black Catholic History Month to honor our rich African American heritage.

During November, the Catholic Church celebrates Black Catholic History Month to honor our rich African-American heritage. This novena was created by the Office of Pastoral Cultural Ministry in collaboration with the Holy Cross Catholic Church. This spiritual resource initiative was made possible thanks to the Ministries Offices and the Interracial Healing Task Force of the Diocese of Dallas. We invite our local Church to come together in prayer to honor our cultural diversity, reclaim the sacredness of each human person created in the image and likeness of God, and support the cause of canonization of the first African American saints.

Please join us in prayer from November 13th – November 21st at 6:00 p.m.
