2017 Annual Roe Memorial Mass and North Texas March for Life Events

On January 13 and 14, 2017, North Texas will mark the 44th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's tragic Roe v. Wade decision of January 22, 1973, making abortion available on demand in America and leading to the death of over 57 million unborn children. Join Bishop Greg Kelly and thousands of people of faith in prayerful remembrance and public witness.  Below is the schedule of events:

7:00 p.m. Roe Memorial Masses: 

  • St. Monica Catholic Church (Dallas) - Bilingual Mass celebrated by Bishop Greg Kelly at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75220 (Additional parking available at Walnut Hill Rec Center, 10011 Midway Rd and Walnut Hill Church of Christ, 10550 Marsh Lane with shuttle service)
  • San Juan Diego (Dallas) - A Mass celebrated in Spanish by Pastor Jesús Belmontes at San Juan Diego, 10919 Royal Haven Ln, Dallas, TX 75229.

  • Roe Memorial Rosaries outside the Southwestern abortion facility, 8616 Greenville Ave., Dallas. (Parking available on Boundbrook Ave. and Gaston Christian Center parking lot, 8515 Greenville) and Planned Parenthood abortion facility, 7989 West Virginia Dr, Dallas (street parking available).


12:30 p.m.

1:00 p.m.

  • North Texas March for Life & Rally from Dallas City Hall Plaza to rally outside the Earle Cabell Federal Courthouse, featuring Bishop Greg Kelly; Pastor Matt Chandler of the Village Church; Patricia Vasquez of the Hispanic Pastoral Ministry and more!


Consider riding the DART Rail this year to save time and money on parking.  We are also in need of volunteers, particularly Knights of Columbus, parish ushers and police or security officers.
