Bishop's Awards for Service to Church 2019
More than a hundred parishioners from throughout the Diocese of Dallas were honored for their volunteer efforts at the Eighth Annual Bishop’s Award for Service Mass on Saturday, March 30th at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in downtown Dallas.

(Dallas) More than a hundred parishioners from throughout the Diocese of Dallas were honored for their volunteer efforts at the Eighth Annual Bishop’s Award for Service Mass on Saturday, March 30th at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in downtown Dallas.
The Awards Mass recognizes the lay men and women whose volunteer efforts are so essential to the ministries in the 74 parishes in the Diocese of Dallas. Bishop Edward J. Burns presided at the Mass with numerous pastors from parishes throughout the diocese concelebrating.
Bishop Burns placed the special bronze medals around the necks of the 136 recipients during the Mass.
