It is our sad duty to announce the death of Father Henry Drozd, a retired priest of the Diocese of Dallas, on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
It is our sad duty to announce the death of Father Henry Drozd, a retired priest of the Diocese of Dallas, on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Father Drozd died while in the care of his sister in California.
The funeral for Fr. Drozd has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Parish in Ennis. Limited Seating is available - please be mindful with social distancing and blocked-off pews that there will be fewer seats available. The Funeral will be Livestreamed for those who don't fit in the church or prefer not to congregate. The funeral livestream will be available on St. John Neopomucene's Facebook page, YouTube page and on their website, stjohncc.net .
Those not in the church are more than welcome to join the funeral procession to the cemetery for the graveside Rite of Committal.
Please keep Father Drozd, his family and friends in your prayers. Eternal rest be granted to him and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of him and the faithful departed rest in peace.
