The Interim Principal at Mary Immaculate oversees and coordinates all academic aspects of the school, including management and formation of teachers and staff members, development of curriculum, oversight of student discipline, coordination or recruitment and retention activities, management of student interventions, program design and coordination and spiritual guidance and growth of all members of the school. Certain functions, such as hiring of staff, budgeting and strategic development, will be functions co-held with the Pastor during the interim year.
Applicants should have experience with Catholic school administration, ideally with experience of having already served as principal of a Catholic school. Teaching Certification in the State of Texas or the ability to become certified is preferred. A Master’s Degree in school administration is not required for the interim position, but would be required to be considered for the final principal role.
