Job Description
This position will provide facility maintenance and security to buildings (All of Becker & Church Rest Rooms) while also supervising the grounds and parking areas.
• Coordinate the opening and closing of the building as needed and/or required for functions and/or events
• Lock doors, check windows and set up the alarm
• Maintain building security by monitoring badge usage & following the two-adult rule
• Maintain awareness of daily campus events/activities, and take appropriate action to escalate internally or externally, any safety and/or security issues/concerns
• Assist with evacuations, accidents, falls, spills, inclement weather, etc. when needed
• Direct visitors to designated areas
• Keep Parish grounds and buildings neat and clean always; remove debris from walkways, entrances, and stairways (All of Becker & Church Rest Rooms)
• May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance
• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include mopping, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. (All of Becker & Church Rest Rooms)
• Take out trash and clean surfaces, mirrors and windows
• Wash and sanitize toilets and sink
• Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements (Location may vary)
• Identify any items needing reorder in accomplishment of assigned tasks
• Report on maintenance and cleaning activities and needs
• Take care of disposals and hazardous materials
• Ensure Safety Environment requirements are met and report violations, needs and concerns to appropriate staff and management
• Comply with all the safety and health rules and regulations
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Provide excellent customer service to co-workers, staff, parishioners, and visitors
• Acknowledge and respond to radio/cell phone call requests in a timely manner
• Performs other duties as required and/or assigned for special events (ex. Carnival)
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, criminal history, and credit check
• Must complete Safe Environment training

• Able to work 8 hours on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
