Job Description

St. Jude Catholic Church, located in the Diocese of Dallas, a parish of more than 4800 families, is seeking a qualified, faithful Catholic adult for the position of Youth Ministry Coordinator. This person shall provide coordination of the implementation of a comprehensive youth ministry programs for our young people in 7th through 12th grades. This includes managing the high school ministry program/ operations, supervising and assisting the middle school assistant, and youth outreach programs. This person shall help foster Christian community, and growth in faith through building relationships and witnessing through service. Weekend programing is part of the regularly scheduled work hours.

Job Requirements

A degree or certificate in youth ministry or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 1 year experience is required, and having Spanish speaking and musical skills are a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive conflict resolution skills, ability to work on a team, ability to work within a budget, proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office), and a working knowledge of social media is necessary.
This position requires working frequent evenings and weekend hours. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
