Job Description

Position Summary: Listen to, support and guide our client families in their memorialization needs, while participating in arrangement conferences, ACV’s and Sales appointments

Essential Job Functions: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations

• Ability to listen to and communicate with our client families, while providing the information and product knowledge, to allow our families to make informed decisions
• Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, stay organized
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Design memorial products while in front of the customer while providing enhanced options
• Think outside the box to enhance client satisfaction
• Think critically about work processes, troubleshoot situations, and take remedial action
• Insure that memorials with pending pre-need final disposition are designed correctly
• Verify the accuracy of memorial orders against the finalized memorial design before it is submitted for manufacturing, upon arrival at the location and prior to installation
• Participate in and facilitate training and skill development opportunities to improve competency and customer service
• Participate in daily Sales Huddles
• Answer staff questions and solve problems promptly and as needed
• Know and understand Garden Specifications to ensure customer satisfaction
• Review posted charges against the memorial order to insure accurate figures
• Follow up on pending designs, and inform management of pending design orders
• Receive, verify and communicate memorial deliveries
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures, rules, and controls
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations, and report unsafe practices to management
• Act on customer service issue to provide satisfactory resolution

Job Requirements

Experience and Education:

• One to two years’ experience as support staff in a customer service environment
• Design experience is preferred




Special Skills:

• Be proficient in:
• Design job aids, MS Office software including web based navigation
• Bilingual a plus
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs
• High accuracy with data entry
