Hours: 12 hours per week
Weekends/OT Required: Occasionally

Job Description

Position will assist in logging and inputting Safe Environment paperwork, and conducting reference checks. Position also will be responsible for all communications efforts of the parish in order to increase awareness, generate interest, and create excitement about the parish and its ministries, outreach and activities within the parish and throughout the larger community. Position will provide clerical support and varied duties as needed in the office and Faith Formation program. Position will report to the Parish Administrator.

Job Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of grammatically correct English (Spanish a plus)
• Working knowledge of web design – a plus
• Skilled in computer graphic design and creativity
• Familiar with various social media and the strengths and weaknesses of each
• Committed to responsible social networking activity
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Grammatically sound English/Spanish fluency strongly preferred
• Web design
• Social media content management
• Graphic design
