Job Description

The Director of Communications is responsible for developing all external communications and marketing materials in both print and digital formats to promote the mission of St. Monica Catholic Church.

• Write and edit copy for print and digital communications (including the bulletin, brochures, postcards and Church’s website)
• Maintain and support the development of Church brand
• Manage and maintain the Church’s website
• Manage social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
• Coordinate day to day marketing tasks, including ordering print materials to support ministry events
• Develop and maintain photography database, brochures, digital media
• Update Church’s app

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications
• Strong copywriting and editing skills
• Strong creative ability and graphic design background
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Video editing experience, not required
• Technology savvy
