The Communications & Marketing Manager is a dynamic representative of John Paul II High School, who is passionate about the school and advancing our mission. The Manager is responsible for the writing and dissemination of all school communications and marketing. This position works closely with all members of the Advancement Team to strengthen relationships between John Paul II High School and our alumni, parents, and grandparents.
We will look to you to:
-Work with the administration to develop messaging that supports the school’s desired position, image, and goals – upholds and articulates the mission, educational philosophy, and vision of John Paul II High School.
-Develop communications standards and work with campuses, departments, staff, clubs, athletics, parent groups to ensure consistency in communications pieces that represent the school.
-Assist the administration in development of the school’s communication-related policies.
-Develop messaging for the President, as needed.
-Edit, art-direct, research, write, design, and project-manage school publications including newsletters, annual report, admissions collateral, fundraising materials, school calendar, and marketing materials.
-Maintain an organized, updated, and robust archive of professional school photos representing all campuses and a cross-section of school life.
-Develop and direct the creative marketing copywriting, designing, media purchasing, and project management for advertising campaigns.
-Develop and coordinate multimedia packages – letters, brochures, video, displays – for particular assignments.
-Research, write, edit, design, and project manage other print and electronic communications as required.
-Serve as an information resource for administration, faculty, staff, and students.
-Coordinate all aspects of JPII social media.
-Work in close coordination with the Advancement Office to ensure that John Paul II High School maximizes opportunities for philanthropic support in the community and carefully stewards each donor.
-Flexibility to perform tasks assigned outside of job description.

-Experience and ease with social media and donor database programs.
-Willingness and ability to attend select after-hours school and donor events and meetings.
-Positive attitude and flexible approach.
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the policies of the Diocese of Dallas and John Paul II High School.
