Synodal Catechetical Sessions
Bishop Edward J. Burns welcomes the faithful to join the Diocese of Dallas in prayerful discernment during a series of synodal catechetical sessions
Bishop Edward J. Burns invites you to be a part of an historic and exciting time for the local and universal Church.
As the Diocese of Dallas is set to begin a multi-year synod process, we have been called by Pope Francis to join dioceses throughout the world in participating in a Synod of Bishops to address the fundamentals of synodality itself. Answering that call, Bishop Edward J. Burns welcomes the faithful to join the Diocese of Dallas in prayerful discernment during a series of synodal catechetical sessions that will be vital in helping chart the course for both the local and universal Church. These catechetical sessions seek to help the faithful of the diocese better understand the diocesan synod itself, their role in it, and address the questions that have been presented by the Holy Father for his synod on synodality.
Be a part of this exciting journey of faith by registering below for one of the four catechetical sessions.
