The historic storms that spawned at least nine tornadoes in North Texas on December 26, 2015 have resulted in 11 deaths and damage expected to top $1billion. Countless families have lost everything; homes, cars, furniture, family mementos.
In light of this tremendous need to provide immediate humanitarian aid, Bishop Farrell has asked all parishes in the Diocese of Dallas to take up a Second Collection at all Masses on January 2-3, 2016.

Monies collected by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will be distributed to the following entities: Catholic Charities of Dallas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and The Society of St. Vincent Diocesan Council of Dallas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Prayer Vigil in Rowlett on December 3oth
Please pray for those who lost their lives, their families and all impacted by this tragedy. Sacred Heart Parish in Rowlett
will have a Prayer Service on Wednesday December 30 at 7:00 pm
to pray for our brothers and sisters who were affected by the tornadoes last Saturday in Rowlett and the other areas of North Texas.
