Diocese of Dallas offers prayers for victims of fatal NYC helicopter crash

The Catholic Diocese of Dallas unites with Bishop Lynch High School and the Dallas Fire Department to offer prayers and condolences to the families of Brian McDaniel and Trevor Cadigan, Bishop Lynch Alumni Class of 2010, who along with three others lost their lives in the New York City helicopter crash on Sunday. McDaniel was a 2 year veteran at DFR Station 36 in West Dallas.

Prayer 

In your hands, O Lord,
we humbly entrust our brothers
In this life you embraced them with your tender love;
deliver them now from every evil
and bid them eternal rest.

The old order has passed away:
welcome them into paradise,
where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain,
but fullness of peace and joy
with your Son and the Holy Spirit
forever and ever.
Amen.
