    It is our sad duty to announce the death of Father A. Salvador Rodriguez on December 9, 2020, at the age of 80.  He passed away at Baylor Hospital with complications from COVID-19.

    Father Rodriquez was a priest of the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  He came to the Diocese of Dallas in 2001 serving as Parochial Vicar at The Cathedral and St. Cecilia.  He was incardinated into the Diocese of Dallas in 2008. He retired from active ministry in 2018.

    Please keep Father Rodriguez, family, and friends in prayer during this time.

    Eternal rest grant unto Father Rodriguez and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May he and all the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen.

    Funeral Arrangements for Father Antonio Salvador Rodriguez

    Visitation - Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 4-8 p.m.
    Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3525 Lombardy Lane, Dallas

    Vigil Service - Monday, December 14 at 8 p.m.
    Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe.  Bishop Kelly will preside.

    Funeral Mass - Tuesday, December 15 at 10 a.m.
    Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe.  Bishop Burns will preside.

    Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

    Es nuestro deber comunicarles del sensible fallecimiento del Padre A. Salvador Rodríguez hoy, 9 de diciembre de 2020, a la edad de 80 años. El Padre Salvador falleció en el Hospital Baylor debido a complicaciones de COVID-19.

    El Padre Rodríguez fue sacerdote de la Arquidiócesis de San Luis Potosí, México. El Padre Salvador llegó a la Diócesis de Dallas en el año 2001 sirviendo como Vicario Parroquial en La Catedral y Santa Cecilia, fue incardinado en la Diócesis de Dallas en 2008 y se retiró del ministerio activo en 2018.

    Los servicios funerarios serán anunciados próximamente.
