    The Hispanic Congress of the Americas for Respect Life and Evangelization is hosted by Bishop Kevin Farrell of the Diocese of Dallas and the Diocese of Fort Worth (temporarily under the guidance of Msgr. Stephen Berg, Diocesan Administrator), organized by the Catholic Pro-Life Committee, Respect Life Ministry of the Diocese of Dallas, with assistance from the USCCB Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities. It is presented every two years to invite Hispanics in the Americas to begin networking and uniting to defend and promote life, marriage and religious liberty and to become effective witnesses of the Gospel of Life to the Church and to all people.

    The first Congress took place in Dallas in 2008, the second in Phoenix, Arizona in 2011, and this Congress hosted by the Dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth will take place at the Plano Convention Centre on August 16-18, 2013. We invite all in the Spanish-speaking world to attend this historic congress offered in English and Spanish. Save the date and make plans to join us!

    In addition to the bi-annual congress, we work continually to unite Hispanic and Latino communities to celebrate the gift of life and to build a civilization of love. Our continuous job to unite the Church in America is guided by the post-synodal document, Ecclesia in America.

    We are also excited to welcome Bishop Kevin Farrell of Dallas, Bishop Mark Seitz of El Paso and Bishop Thomas Olmsted of Phoenix.

    El Congreso Hispano de las Américas de Respeto a la Vida y Evangelización está organizado por Obispo Kevin Farrell de la Diócesis de Dallas, y la Diócesis de Fort Worth (temporalmente guiada por Monseñor Stephen Berg, Administrador Diocesano), organizado por el Comité Católico Pro-Vida, Ministerio de Respeto a la Vida de la Diócesis de Dallas, con asistencia de la Secretaria de Actividades Pro-Vida de la Conferencia Episcopal de Estados Unidos.  Se presenta cada dos años para invitar a Hispanos de las Américas a empezar una red y unirnos para defender y promover la vida, el matrimonio, la libertad religiosa y ser un testigo efectivo del Evangelio de la Vida para la Iglesia y para todo el pueblo.

    El primer congreso se llevó a cabo en Dallas en 2008, el segundo en Phoenix, Arizona en 2011, y este congreso se llevara acabo en la Diócesis de Dallas y Diócesis de Fort Worth en el 16-18 de agosto, 2013.
