Catholic Schools in Diocese of Dallas Launch New School Year
Las Escuelas Católicas en la Diócesis de Dallas Inician un Nuevo Año Escolar

    Some Catholic school students in the Diocese of Dallas begin heading back to the classroom on Tuesday, August 12th. That makes them among the first students in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to begin the 2014-2015 school year.

    The first Catholic school opened its doors in the Diocese of Dallas in 1874.  Today, there are 37 schools and an enrollment of nearly 15,000 students in the local Catholic school system led by Superintendent Sister Gloria Cain.

    Algunos estudiantes de las escuelas Católicas en la Diócesis de Dallas inician su regreso a los salones de clase el martes, 12 de Agosto.  Esto los coloca entre los primeros estudiantes que comienzan el año escolar 2014-2015 en el Área Metropolitana Dallas-Fort Worth.

    La primera escuela Católica abrió sus puertas en la Diócesis de Dallas en 1874.  Hoy en día, hay 37 escuelas y una inscripción de casi 15,000 estudiantes en el sistema de escuelas Católicas locales dirigido por la Superintendente Hermana Gloria Cain.
