Catholic Schools in Diocese of Dallas Launch New School Year

Some Catholic school students in the Diocese of Dallas begin heading back to the classroom on Tuesday, August 12th. That makes them among the first students in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to begin the 2014-2015 school year.
The first Catholic school opened its doors in the Diocese of Dallas in 1874. Today, there are 37 schools and an enrollment of nearly 15,000 students in the local Catholic school system led by Superintendent Sister Gloria Cain.
