Bishop Greg Kelly honors recipients of 2017 Bishop’s Award for Service to the Church

At a Mass and ceremony at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe today, Bishop Greg Kelly bestowed the Bishop’s Award for Service to the Church to the honorees for their outstanding service to the church.
The Bishop's Award for Service to the Church was inaugurated in 2012 to recognize the great work and true sacrifice made by lay men and women in the Diocese of Dallas. Nominated by their pastor or parish administrator, recipients of this award are practicing Catholics , exemplary volunteers, and known for their public witness to the Catholic faith.
Each person receiving the Bishop's Award for Service to the Church accepts no compensation for their service, and is recommended by specific evidence of their virtuous good works.This award continues to be presented annually.
The Diocese of Dallas sincerely thanks all of the recipients of the Bishop's Award for all of their tireless work to the diocese and to their parishes.

El día de hoy en una Misa y ceremonia en la Catedral Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, el Obispo Greg Kelly presentó el Premio del Obispo por Servicio a la Iglesia a los homenajeados en reconocimiento a su excepcional servicio a la Iglesia.
El Premio del Obispo por Servicio a la Iglesia fue inaugurado en 2012 para reconocer la gran labor y verdadero sacrificio realizado por hombres y mujeres laicos en la Diócesis de Dallas. Los beneficiarios de este premio son Católicos practicantes, voluntarios ejemplares y conocidos por su testimonio público de la fe Católica, nominados por su párroco o administrador parroquial,.
Cada persona que recibe el Premio del Obispo por Servicio a la Iglesia no acepta ningún tipo de compensación monetaria por su servicio y es recomendada por evidencia específica de su virtuosa y buena labor. Este premio es presentado anualmente.
La Diócesis de Dallas agradece sinceramente a todos los destinatarios del Premio del Obispo su incansable labor en favor de la diócesis y sus parroquias.
