New Study on St. Paul's Epistle to the Romans

Join us at St. Jude this Fall 2015 as we offer a brand new bible study, Romans: A Catholic Approach, led by Eric W. Hendry, Ph.D. on Monday nights, beginning September 21st.

Location: Parish Hall. Time: 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM.

In this study, we will look at Paul's hope for the new house-churches in Rome, his interaction with the Greco-Roman culture and society of his day, and how his message of the good news and the mercy of Jesus clashed with the oppressive political regime and dominating pantheon of the Roman Empire. We will uncover exactly why his instructions gave hope to those who had already begun to follow the Way of Christ - and why these same instructions can give contemporary Catholics so much hope today!

Bring your bible and a notebook - and perhaps a friend, a neighbor, or a loved one!

No previous biblical knowledge is required; perfect for parishioners looking to try a Catholic bible study. Newcomers always welcome.

Catechist Credit Available: This series will count towards diocesan certification for all those serving in their local catechetical ministries.
