201 Roles of the Catechist

201. Roles of the Catechist

Roles of the Catechist invites catechists to explore four aspects of their ministry in greater depth: skills for telling the story of faith, ways to walk with learners on their faith journey as teacher companions, strategies for leading prayer, and the importance of being a witness for justice and of inviting learners to do the same.

This is an online class facilitated by an instructor from Sept. 18 to 24.  Participants will have one week to complete the readings, watch the videos, answer the instructor's questions on the discussion board, post two replies to your peers' comments, and complete any supplementary assignments. It is expected that you will dedicate at least 5 hours to complete this course.  Time may vary depending on the individual's pace.
