The killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May 2020 seemed to open the eyes of many in the U.S. and the world about how racism manifests. For Individuals & Families
Meditate on these reflections in your home
START a conversation with one other person – a family member, friend, neighbor – about the topics of the reflections.
PRAY about the emotions you felt as you meditated on the reflections. Ask God to help you to identify one action you can take in response.
MAKE it a point to introduce yourself to a person from a different racial/ethnic background the next time you are at Mass or an event. Ask them about themselves and take time to listen to their experience.
