Catholic Campaign for Human Development
Purpose: To address the causes of poverty in America through the promotion of grass-roots community organizations and through education. This is done by means of programs of grants, economic development and education in collaboration with other dioceses and supported by an annual collection in all parishes. The CHD Committee is made up of volunteers who assist in promotion of the campaign and in awarding local grants to selected community-based organizations.

Catholic Foundation
Purpose: A non-profit corporation and a community foundation that makes grants from its unrestricted endowment to organizations within the Diocese of Dallas. The Foundation also assists individuals with donor-advised funds and administers charitable grants from donor-established restricted funds. Services provided include planned and deferred charitable giving programs for individuals as well as charitable gift annuities.
