Protecting Your Children From Harm – An Online Education Course for Parents and Community Members.   When you complete this class there is a certificate, please print it and give to your parish Safe Environment Director with your name and address.

Presented by the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, this is a 24-minute video-based course for parents and community members to increase knowledge about the issue of childhood sexual abuse.  The course includes a pre- and post-test to help gauge current awareness and knowledge gained after completing the course.  Parents and community members will learn about the issue of childhood sexual abuse, common misperceptions about perpetrators, practical tips for protecting children and an overview of the unique work of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.
